For active HABIC dog teams, refresher training classes are designed to help keep your dog confident and comfortable in their role while also providing you with updated techniques and strategies to enhance your effectiveness as a team.

The therapy cat training class includes three 45-minute one-on-one sessions.

The therapy dog training class is a 12-week hybrid program. The class meets for one hour once a week. Upon successfully completing the class, you and your dog will sign up for a final evaluation to become a certified therapy team with HABIC.

HABIC Certification lasts for two years. Re-evaluation appointments allow active HABIC teams to maintain certification. It also helps maintain the safety and effectiveness of therapy dog interactions.
